Monika's weekly inner voice drawings:
Q: What is today's wisdom?
A: "A little too abstract, a little too wise,
It is time for us to kiss the earth again,
It is time to let the leaves rain from the skies,
Let the rich life run to the roots again."
- Robinson Jeffers

I love this kite-like expression of expansion and playfulness. This is IVD in all its roots and wings of desire. A coastline of daisies, a kite’s string connecting our desires to the ground of form and nature. We really need both to open our hearts, to stay humble and attuned to what is before us: relationship. This is who we truly are: aliveness itself.
ReplyDeletei'm still dreaming........................i'm in heaven......let the imagination soar....just a few minutes longer...i can still smell and feel skin.. i'm holding my son and we're dancing in circles...a celtic dance....we’re spinning and spinning...the world is round....and sky...we are gazing at sky and it’s a reflection of the earth, but impressionistically like a Cezanne...and the colors vivid...greens, browns, oranges, whites...and the clouds are puffy and round.... the colors are round...my love is round....and i feel like a kite and he a baby kite...and I’m teaching him sky like an elder....and the nature of sky and how its actually the ground, and we're upside down but don't realize it...and i feel that feeling one feels when on a cliff...like vertigo...that tingle through your body especially your legs… and the air pulling your body outward… and the green below calls you to jump and become the green… and the blue above wants to pull you upward and melt into blue… and the mind is telling you oh shit this is scary… and there are these things called reason and gravity and love and oh shit and tingles and feelings and perspective angling in and out like the nylon line of a fly fishing pole as it floats over the air in a slow arc before it hits water then comes back to the pole in a straight line: and there you have it life in a line and love in an arc and sky and earth blue and round.....

The kite - that's exactly the feeling I had: A kite and a plant spirit and daring to fall into open space while being held at the same time by memories, relationships, connections, aware and not so aware, swinging and being swung like a child in the arms of a father :)
ReplyDeleteOK- May I post this and a couple of others on Waking Planet FB and blog? With a short description of this series and a link of course. This one is too precious for words.
ReplyDeleteI'll be delighted :)
