Monika's weekly inner voice drawings:
I wanted to draw a "love message for a special someone". In good Inner Voice Drawing fashion I didn't plan the drawing but surrendered to my intuition and let it happen. I wasn't prepared to see a shaggy "kangaroo-dog" appear as a love messenger, but he made me smile. He clearly is from another planet, so the message must be universal :)

This is an amazing creature. He seems to be in motion, putting the heart on the platter, and taking it off. Infinity. I think it is a he?! The creature is certainly playful and his heart chakra is very open.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he is special delivering a message of eternal love for our planet. We can use that message about now!
Love your work girl.
Paige
Thank you, Paige. I love your interpretation. I think it is an androgynous all-gender creature that can shape shift into a specific gender if necessary. In this case he is bringing out his male energy.
ReplyDeleteI was much narrower in my interpretation but I love it that you broadened the vision field, seeing him as a messenger of "eternal love for the planet." Yes, truly, we need it.
Ditto what Paige said. What fun!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful drawing Monika! The way the creature is holding the heart and the lines around it make me think of an alarm clock. The cover to the platter also reminds me of a bell. It is as if love is ringing, awakening us to its infinite quality. With one ear the creature seems to listen to the heart, with the other the bell disclosing the infinite. If we listen, if we awaken, it is there for us to take. He (or she) shows us both love and timelessness, but is also their coming together--wisdom as form, uncovering the eternal by awakening to the heart, awakening to the union of love and the infinite within the person, which is the discovery of our spiritual being,
ReplyDeleteThe fluidity of your Love Messenger speaks to me of the need for love to take all forms and forever. Fluid is infinite. Carefully holding love above all (or over his head and logic)and gently preparing to put it somewhere safe for eternity. I think it shouts your deep and devoted love for that special someone.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity to peek and create from your heart's work!

What a flurry of wonderfully insightful comments! I love it. The "alarm clock" of the "fluid" messenger from another planet must have brought it on :) Thank you all!
ReplyDeleteJohn Lennon has returned in the form of a Grinch-like-no-Grinch, the scraggly, wiry, dream weaver who reminded us that the “dream is over.” And when we kill the dream, we then love.
