Happiness is one of my favorite words because it is one of the most elusive and misunderstood ideas. I define happiness as “the awareness of awareness.” I smile just thinking about it. But, my heart smiles when I experience it. “Awareness thinking” is happiness and the title I would ascribe to this drawing. Unfortunately, we typically mistake thinking for thought; but, that’s not what I mean. Thinking is more like knowing, a wisdom experience because it engenders questioning. Just words, of course, playfully trying to capture the suchness they point to. The drawing more visually expresses happiness, the awareness of awareness. I see a flowering of co-emergence: “this emerges because that is.” Ah, relationship. I exist in some way, but not on my own. And I, having been created, create you. And you, having been created, create me. I am, but always in relation to. Without you, I couldn’t act, or be acted on. This is why understanding the psychological is so critical. Isolation is the state of mind attached to the belief in its independence. It is ignorant of its ultimate relatedness. How utterly painful it feels to exist in isolation. Not to worry, the gift of intimacy is always near, in the feeling. Master the emotions and the scent is released.
Your term "flowering of co-emergence" would be a great subtitle to the drawing. Co-emergence beyond getting stuck in dualistic thinking, like I vs. you, good vs. bad ... at least that's MY idea :)
I think this is an ongoing expression of your "love forever" series and we feel that for another when we can see how perfect they are in their imperfections!
