Monika's weekly inner voice drawings:
Q: What is today's wisdom?
A: "Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything."
- Plato
"One ought, every day at least,to bear a little song,
read a good poem,
see a fine picture,
and, if possible,
speak a few reasonable words."
- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Very different from your last drawing, Monika. Now, the two figures are looking, not at each other but, in the same direction. The energy and so meaning are different. From a copulating duo to a syncopating duet. And then I realized Goethe's words: "to bear little song...". And so, this drawing is the offspring of the last! bene!
ReplyDeleteI am glad that the drawings are different, I don't like to repeat myself :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's interesting that the two figures are looking into the same direction and what exactly are they looking at? I am not sure. It would be interesting to make a drawing by asking the question, "what are they seeing?" You should try it!
I only felt that the music was sending out energy waves and that the two figures were "tuned" into that.
