The Universe Is Smiling: Three Methods to Learn Wisdom

Monika's weekly inner voice drawings:

Q: What is today's wisdom?
A: "By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which is noblest; second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third, by experience, which is the most bitter."
- Confucius

  1. lol. That is quite funny, my dear. I like how the green plant/arm represents 'bitter'. And how the 'imitation' face looks surprisingly goofy. It's very simple and clear. I love it. There's something to be said for that German sense of humor!

  2. Hey, I am laughing too now. I had interpreted the faces in the opposite order and couldn't quite make sense of the plant. However, now that you have put them into the proper order, the bottom face clearly shows the gall bladder complexion of having eaten the bitter plant. How wonderful and funny indeed :)
