Monika's weekly inner voice drawings:
"You have beauty and mother earth who supports you," says the caterpillar, "but I have no home and I am sitting on an empty leaf."
The flower, who had gained wisdom by watching the little bugs and birds and flowers in their daily strife, responded with a quote from the Dalai Lama:
"When you are discontent, you always want more, more, more. Your desire can never be satisfied. But when you practice contentment, you can say to yourself, 'Oh yes - I already have everything that I really need."
"And besides", the flower continued, "you will turn into a beautiful butterfly. So, be patient!"
And then they both quietly enjoyed the morning breeze.
